Edo Police Commissioner Commended for Improved Security Measures

The Chairman of the Business and Hotelier Stakeholders Forum in Edo State, Chief Dr Omogiade Edokpolor JP, has applauded the efforts of the state’s Police Command in enhancing security.

Speaking during a visit to the Police Commissioner’s office in Benin City, Chief Edokpolor noted the significant strides made in maintaining law and order over the past few weeks.

“The police deserve commendation for their dedication to safeguarding the citizens of the state,” he stated. He highlighted the efforts of the newly appointed Police Commissioner, whose proactive approach to security has fostered a safer environment for residents and visitors alike, especially during this festive season when the influx of tourists and business activities intensifies.

In response, the Police Commissioner expressed gratitude to the Business and Hotelier Stakeholders Forum for their recognition and reiterated the Command’s commitment to ensuring a peaceful yuletide period.

“Measures have been put in place to tackle crime and ensure the safety of all,” the Commissioner assured.

The visit concluded with a special presentation, as the Police Commissioner awarded Chief Edokpolor in recognition of his leadership and contributions to the state’s business and hospitality sectors.
