Late Madam Charity Agbukor Asornomho, the mother of the assistant editor of THE PROMISE Newspaper and a well-known community publisher, was interred at the cemetery of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Iviukwe—Agenebode, Edo State.

Born on November 30, 1950, Late Madam Charity passed away on May 28, 2024, at the age of 74.
During the burial ceremony, Sir Catechist Peter Kanabe praised her unwavering dedication to serving God throughout her life.
The residents of Weppa and Uwanno kingdoms, as well as the people of Edo state, paid tribute to Late Madam Charity Agbukor, acknowledging her enduring legacies. Survived by her children and grandchildren, her son, Mr. Lucky Apeakhuye-Agbukor, expressed deep sorrow over her sudden passing, emphasizing her profound influence on his life and the lives of others.
More than 20 Catholic priests of Auchi Diocese presided over the Holy Mass in her honor. Mr. Apeakhuye-Agbukor extended his gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the burial, expressing his heartfelt appreciation. May her soul rest in peace.
