COVID-19 hunger: Nigerian man beats nephew to death over mango fruits

In Mgboko Umuorio Community Obingwa Local Government Area of Abia State, one Chinaedu murdered his blood brother Solomon in cold-blood just for mango fruits.

It was reported that Mr Solomon's little son went to his Uncle's house (Chinaedu) where he saw mango fruits and picked some to eat. Mr Chinaedu out of long breed anger flogged the boy mercilessly to the point that the fainted.

Mr Solomon while received the report of what happened to his son rushed to his brother house to rescue his son. He challenged his brother of his brutality on his son. But this didn't go down well with Chinaedu at all.

Eyewitness accounts that when Solomon was taken his son back home, his brother Chinaedu went inside to take cutlass and chased after Solomon and his son. But before Solomon could know what was happening, Chinaedu has gave him a deep cut in his neck. Solomon died instantly.

The criminal has been arrested by the youths and taking to Police Station.
