Edo commissioner for Science and Technology kidnapped

Information reaching this blog has it that the Edo State Commissioner for Science and Technology, Mr. Emmanuel Agbale has been kidnapped. His Police Orderly was said to have been killed during the process of the abduction. The incident occurred on the Benin-Auchi highway. The Commisioner was on his way to Ekpoma where he hails from.

This blog gathered that he was kidnapped Friday evening on his way to Ekpoma, on the Benin-Auchi Road, around oil palm estate. His police orderly was reportedly killed in the process while the driver escaped unhurt.

The Edo State Police public relations officer, Chidi Nwabuzor confirmed this to AIT in a telephone interview saying that investigation is ongoing.
