CoS Exit: Over 30 Senior Special Adviser to dump Obaseki's administration
The crisis rocking the camp of Godwin Obaseki has taken a dangerous twist as over 30 senior special advisers are set to resign from his government.
They allege Obaseki’s highhandedness and Philip Shaibu’s greed as some reasons for their resignation,
The special advisers are set to start resigning individually and collectively.
According to one of the Special Advisers who pleaded anonymity, he claims the deputy governor is the one behind the crisis.
“Obaseki gave Philip Shaibu so much power which he is using to constitute a nuisance.
Philip is the brain behind the crisis Obaseki is having, he has issues with party leaders on the 190 wards that Obaseki is dealing with today.
He was behind the court order that removed Oshiomhole from office.
The money involved in the whole process of removing Oshiomhole is in the public domain and it is alleged Philip Shaibu reserved some for himself to the chagrin of Obaseki.
The deputy governor is behind the state house of assembly crisis that generated the crisis that has taken over the Obaseki regime.
The deputy governor can’t even deliver his ward for the party.”
Recall yesterday that the Chief of Staff to the governor, Mr Taiwo Akerele tendered in his resignation letter.
