Scores feared dead as Sango Toll Gate goes up in flame

No fewer than seven persons have been feared killed in a fire that engulfed the old toll gate axis of Lagos/Abeokuta Expressway, Sango, Ogun State.

The inferno that left no fewer than 25 trucks and 10 other vehicles burnt, caught several people unawares when a petrol ladden-tanker rolled down the hilly landscape inward Sango, fell off and spilled its content.

In a speed of light, the entire area went up in flames.

Several people, including commuters, roadside traders, commercial motorcycle riders (aka okada riders) were trapped in the inferno.

However, operatives of the state Traffic Compliance and Enforcement (TRACE), led by the Sango-Otta Area Commander, Adekunle Ajibade, police and Firefighters have been on ground to do the needful.
