Ogun State Poly Given Recognition on JAMB Portal
The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board [JAMB] has given recognition for the newly established Polytechnic in Ogun state, Ogun poly, Ipokia in its portal in order to admit students to the new polytechnic.
The recognition by the admission body came after a letter which was claimed by the Ogun state government to have been sent by the JAMB to give recognition for admission into Ogun poly.
The JAMB has however added Ogun poly as one of the polytechnics to admit aspirants in the 2017/2018 admission process.
The creation of the new polytechnic was due to the conversion of Moshood Abiola polytechnic [MAPOLY] to a degree awarding institution Moshood Abiola university of science and technology [MAUSTECH].
It would be recalled that, the National Board of Technical Education (NBTE) in a letter released by the state government claimed to have given accreditation to 18 courses in the newly established polytechnic.
