The House of Igbinedion today, ushered in the year 2025 with a powerful blend of joy, prayer, and thanksgiving, as the Igbinedion family, alongside friends, well-wishers, and church members, gathered at the palatial residence of Sir Chief Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion, the Esama of Benin, for a special Morning Dew Prayer and Thanksgiving Service.

Though the Esama was absent, being out of the country at the time, the occasion was still filled with warmth and profound gratitude for the blessings received in the past year, 2024.

The service was led by Pastor Joshua Omosehin Ogunboye, who delivered a stirring sermon titled "All-round Fulfilment." Drawing from Psalms 16:5-6, Pastor Ogunboye shared a message of hope and divine assurance for the Igbinedion family and attendees, proclaiming that the year 2025 would be one of significant transformation and blessings.

"The lines are falling for you, House of Igbinedion. The lines are falling for Lady Sherry, for His Excellency, and for each and every one of us," the pastor declared, invoking the promise of divine prosperity and fulfilment.

Emphasising the trials faced in the previous year, he confidently stated, "2024 was tough, but 2025 will be the year of all-round fulfilment—your year of settlement and peace."

The minister went on to highlight the conditions necessary for these blessings to manifest, encouraging attendees to seek reconciliation with loved ones, maintain peace in their hearts, and trust in God's favour. He also spoke on the importance of physical and spiritual wellbeing, stating that "a sound health status" was paramount to living a fulfilled life.

"The Lord is standing by you," Pastor Ogunboye affirmed, "and He will ensure your success in this year of fulfilment."

Further into the service, a prayer session took place, where various pastors took turns praying for the family and the attendees, invoking God's blessings, protection, and guidance for the year ahead.

In an interview with Uptown Press, Rev. Dr. Olu Aibimuomo, Senior Pastor of Central Baptist Church, Kings Square, Benin City, spoke warmly of the Igbinedion family.

"There is so much love for the Igbinedion family, whether in their presence or absence. The family has positively touched so many lives, and we want the Lord to continue to keep them," he remarked.

"Today, we see excitement and joy among the people as they celebrate the start of 2025 with the House of Igbinedion."

The event was marked by an overwhelming sense of unity, love, and faith, as the House of Igbinedion, its friends, and well-wishers came together to seek God's guidance and blessings for the year ahead.
