Tinubu Reaffirms Economic Recovery as APC Leaders Rally Behind His Administration

President Bola Tinubu has assured Nigerians that the country’s economy is on a steady path to recovery, as food prices begin to decline ahead of Ramadan. Speaking at the National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja, the President pledged to redouble efforts towards national prosperity.

During the meeting, Tinubu received a vote of confidence from party leaders, who commended his administration’s governance and economic policies. In response, he expressed gratitude for their support and reaffirmed his commitment to working collaboratively with other arms of government to advance Nigeria’s development.

The President also lauded the efforts of APC governors and the party’s National Working Committee, acknowledging their dedication to party unity and national progress. He called for greater cohesion within the party, urging leaders to resolve internal disputes and strengthen preparations for upcoming electoral challenges.

Among those in attendance were Vice President Kashim Shettima, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin, and Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abass. APC governors, led by the Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum and Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, as well as the party’s National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, were also present.

The NEC meeting followed an earlier party caucus gathering, where discussions centred on resolving internal divisions and reinforcing APC’s position ahead of future elections.
