Just In: Jigawa Govt Construct six Junior Secondary Schools

In a bid to raise the standard of education and contribute to its development the Jigawa government on Monday says it has constructed six additional junior secondary schools in Buji Local Government Area.
Malam Murtala Aliyu, the Education Secretary, stated this on Monday in Dutse through the Information Officer in charge of the area, Alhaji Ali Safiyanu. Safiyanu said the schools included two junior Arabic schools.
He explained that they were constructed in Gantsa, Falgeri, Danbazau, Kawaya, Tijiyo and Bakwarga villages. The spokesperson quoted the education secretary as saying that the gesture would boost enrolment in the area. According to him, Aliyu, who commended the government for its effort, pointed out that it would go a long way in bridging educational gaps between children in the area and other parts of the state. “It is our hope that government’s decision will also boost literacy level of children at the grassroots. “We also hope that the provision of the schools will also assist in improving the standard of education in the area,” he quoted the secretary as saying.
