OSOGBO- An Islamic cleric, Alhaji Musbaudeen Orimadigun has urged
Muslims the world over to appreciate Allah for what He has done in
their lives and in whatever situation they may find themselves,
entreating them to express love toward their neighbours. He added that
the sin of ingratitude is a big one in the sight of Allah.
The Cleric made this call in his homily on the occasion of the
thanksgiving ceremony toward the success of the 29th Annual National
Conference of the Federation of Muslim Women’s Association in Nigeria
(FOMWAN) Osun State Chapter and special prayer for the victory of
Governor Rauf Aregbesola at the just concluded governorship poll in
the state.
Speaking further, Alhaji Musbaudeen says that life is about scarcity
and abundance and whenever mankind experience hardship; they should
not be quick to blame Allah, explaining that when they express
appreciation, Allah will bless them more.
Earlier in her remarks, the Osun state Amirah, Hajia Suaibat Babalola
Adubi used the opportunity to thank the executive governor of the
state Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola for his unalloyed support for FOMWAN and
the success of the conference.
The state Amirah said: “The governor was fully part of the programme
from the beginning to the end. His words of advice and encouragement
are acknowledged and the association will make use of them greatly.”
FOMWAN was established in October 1985 with a consultative status with
the United Nations. It is a non-profit and non-governmental Civil
Society umbrella body for Muslim women association in Nigeria. It is
emerging and growing as a national faith based non- governmental

aspirations of its members in line with Islamic injunctions with a
