The eyes of the world are turned to the bustling city of Mumbai as the son of India's richest man, Mukesh Ambani, prepares for a wedding that promises to be one of the most lavish events of the year.

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding, scheduled from July 12 to July 14, 2024, has attracted global attention and a star-studded guest list.

In a spectacular move, Nigerian singer Rema has reportedly been paid 4.5 billion Naira (approximately $3 million) to perform at the wedding. Rema, who gained worldwide fame in 2023 with his hit single 'Calm Down', is set to be one of the highlights of the wedding’s entertainment lineup.

His single not only topped charts in multiple countries but also struck a chord in India, making him a fitting choice for the grand celebration.

The three-day wedding is rumored to have a budget of around $600 million and will feature performances by several global musicians.

Alongside Rema, Grammy and Oscar winner AR Rahman, Somali-Canadian musician K'naan, and Latin pop star Luis Fonsi are expected to perform, adding to the event's international allure.

The Ambani family, known for their extravagant socialite lifestyle, has previously hosted high-profile events featuring superstar musicians.

Recently, Rihanna made headlines with her first public performance in years at a pre-wedding ceremony for the Ambanis in India.

The guest list for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding is as impressive as the entertainment lineup, with numerous celebrities and dignitaries expected to attend. Hollywood stars Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, boxing legend Mike Tyson, pop icons Justin Bieber and John Cena, and power couple David and Victoria Beckham are among the notable attendees.

Additionally, reality TV star Kim Kardashian and former British Prime Ministers Tony Blair and Boris Johnson are also expected to grace the event.
