Governor Otti Pays Condolence Visit To Families Of Fallen Soldiers In Aba, Offers Support

Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, OFR, on Saturday, June 1, 2024, paid a heartfelt condolence visit to the wives of the five soldiers who lost their lives in the line of duty.

The soldiers were killed by unknown gunmen in Obikabia, Obingwa Local Government Area, on Thursday, May 30, 2024.

Governor Otti visited the 144 Battalion in Asa, Ukwa West LGA, where he met with the young widows and offered his condolences. He was received by Brigadier General O. O. Diya, Commander of 14 Brigade Ohafia, Nigeria Army.
During his visit, Governor Otti signed the condolence register in honor of the fallen soldiers, paying tribute to their ultimate sacrifice.
His visit brought comfort to the grieving families, demonstrating the state government's support and appreciation for the soldiers' service.
