Etsako West Council Chairman Pays Courtesy Visit To Hon. Marcus Onobun


 ...Seeks support and effective collaboration between the third tier and the legislative arm


The Executive Chairman of Etsako West Council, Hon. Marvelous Muhizu Zibiri, has paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Marcus Onobun, the Federal House of Representative Member Representing Esan West, Esan Central and Igueben Federal Constituency, at his office in Abuja.

The visit was aimed at strengthening the relationship between the Council Chairman and the Federal Lawmaker and exploring ways to collaborate on projects and programs that will benefit the people.
According a statement by the Chief Press Secretary, Iyamah Nurudeen during the visit, Hon. Marvelous Zibiri expressed his appreciation to Hon. Onobun for his efforts in promoting the welfare and well-being of the people in his constituency. While highlighting the deplorable Federal Government Roads In Edo state, he noted that the Local Government is committed to working closely with the Federal Government and other stakeholders to address the challenges facing the area and to promote development and progress.
Hon. Onobun, on his part, welcomed the Local Government Chairman and expressed his readiness to work with him in all facet to promote the common good of the people through the initiation of people friendly policies and legislations. He noted that the Federal Government is constantly being reminded of the challenges posed by the deplorable roads in Edo state and that the people of Etsako West can count on his support and cooperation.
The two leaders discussed various issues of mutual interest, including infrastructure, security, health, education, and agriculture. They also explored ways to leverage on available resources and opportunities to promote development and progress of their various constituents.
The courtesy visit is part of a broader strategy by Hon. Marvelous Zibiri to build partnerships and collaborations with other stakeholders at the Federal, State, and Local levels, and to ensure that the people of Etsako West are well represented and their needs are addressed.
