Auchi community agog as family holds 40 day fidau prayer for former Rector of Auchi Polytechnic, Dr. Momodu Jimah

It was a celebration of life well lived as the family and friends of late Dr. TPL Momodu Sanusi Jimah, former Rector of Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi, Edo State marked his 40 day Fidau prayer according to Islamic rites.

The late Rector had died on Friday 2, October, 2020 after battling stroke at an undisclosed hospital in the State.

The event which took place at his Auchi residence witnessed the presence of the Chief Imam of Auchi, Islamic scholars, staff of Auchi Polytechnic and other dignitaries in and outside Auchi community.

The Acting Rector of the Polytechinic, Mr. Engr. Mustapha Zubair in his remark, said that Muslims hold dear prayer for the repose of the dead.

He advisedthe children not to allow the vacuum created in the family by the death of the late Rector to divide the family, urging them to work together in order to move the family forward
