Permanent Employment: NPower disassociates self from data collection

 The National Social Investment Scheme, NPower on Friday disassociated itself from news currently trending on various Social media that disengaged Volunteers of the Scheme should submit their credentials to various Local Government Desk Officers across the country.

The Scheme made this clearification in message to the beneficiaries today to douse the tension emanating from the purported submission of data to Local councils.

The NPower Scheme explains as follows:

"Greetings Sir

"Thank you for your email.and we hope you are keeping safe.

"Kindly be informed that June 2020 payment is being wrk on for Batch A , and June, July for Batch B, respectively.

"As regards the stipend from March 2020, kindly be informed that the volunteers were processed for these payments but unfortunately, their payment details were flagged by the payment platform; the reason for the payment flag is currently being investigated and all eligible volunteers will likewise be paid their due.

"We apologize for the inconvenience and we request that you kindly encourage the volunteers to exercise some patience regarding the payment issues.

"Regarding devices, there is no device provision for Batch B volunteers.

"We would like to inform you that the transition plan for the volunteers is still in the works and you will be duly informed on what it entails at the appropriate time.

"Finally, kindly be informed that any post or instruction that did not emanate from our official social media handles should be considered as fake news and ingenuine, kindly sensitize the volunteers to not fall prey.

"Thank you for all that you do and kind regards."
