Coronavirus: N8b Fraud Rocks NCDC

A monumental fraud of over N8billion has been discovered in one of the Southwest states Covid-19 Committees (Nigeria Centre for Disease Control).

The fraud, it was gathered, was established in the area of inflation in the numbers of victims; purchase of substandard drugs and protective materials; inflation of contract budgets and direct embezzlement of N8billion.

This gives credence to the outcries by Nigerians that, much as they believe there is Covid-19, it has become a visible source of pauperizing the masses, more so that no meaningful developmental projects are being embarked upon by state governors.

They are busy over-bloating figures, both in terms of victims and equipment they purport to purchase, all in a bid to continue syphoning money.
