Edo 2020: APC women leaders drum support for Ize- Iyamu

In a bid to give overwhelming Victory to the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the September polls, the Association of Etsako Central APC Woman leaders has urged the people of the local government  to vote enmasse  for the party's flagbearer, Pastor Osagie Ize Iyamu.


Speaking in a meeting held at the residence of the All Progressives Congress Chairman in Etsako Central local government in fugar, Comrade Suleiman Bagudu, the LGA Women leader, Chief Mrs Gladys L.F.Momoh, urged  the  Women leaders to vote Pastor Osagie Ize Iyamu for the advancement of the local government area.

She said, there was need for the Women leaders to double their efforts to win people to the party, adding that Etsako Central remained the stronghold of the All Progressives Congress.

Chief,Mrs,L.F.Momoh, asserted that Mr.Obaseki has neglected those that laboured to enthrone him as the governor of the state.

The APC Women leaders, maintained that Mr.Godwin Obaseki has failed the people of the state in all sectors of the economy.

She stated, that the People's Democratic Party (PDP) has become a rejected party in the local government due to it's failure to deliver democracy dividends to the people of the area and the state.

On her part, a former Chairperson, Women Development Programme (WDP), Mrs Angela Bagudu, said Pastor Osagie Ize Iyamu is a Godfearing man that would meet the yeanings and aspirations of the state.

Mrs Bagudu, reassured the Women leaders that POI would run an all inclusive administration that would be proud of all and gender friendly if given the mandate in the September governorship polls.

She added, that Pastor Ize Iyamu has established himself as a formidable politician who knows the plight of the people of the state.

The former WDP Chairperson, appealed to the Women to double their efforts in their quest to elect a governor that would give priority to the welfare of the people of the state.

She said, God has brought Ize Iyamu to rescue them from misgovernance of the present administration in the state.

In her remarks, Mrs Josephine Asekhomhe, Women leader of Ward four thanked the LGA Women leader for organizing the meeting and reassured the Association of their commitment to justify the confidence reposed in them.

In her submission, Mrs Rabietu Abdullai, commended the leadership of the Association for the honour done them and promised to mobilize her supporters for POI and MGA come September 19.

The strategic meeting had in attendance ten Ward Women leaders .
