Tanker Explosion: Lagos announces diversion of traffic

Following a fatal explosion involving four trailers on Sunday morning at Kara Bridge, the Federal Road Safety Corps has announced the diversion of traffic on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. 


This was contained in a statement released on Sunday by the Lagos State Sector Commander of the FRSC, Olusegun Ogungbemide in Lagos state. 

The Lagos FRSC boss said; “Following the unfortunate crash that involved three fuel tankers and one other trailer that were engulfed in inferno in the early hours of the day, FRSC operatives immediately mobilised and invited fire servicemen to extinguish the fire."
