Ethiopia 's last Emperor, Haile Selassie was a descendant of King Solomon. He ruled from 1930-1974.

He is worshipped by Rastafarians.
He defeated Italy, when they invaded Ethiopia.
He kept lions as pets.
His ancestor, Menelik I, was King Solomon & the Queen of Sheba's child.



Makeda, the Queen of Sheba was mentioned in the Bible and the Quran. She is said to have gone on a trip to Jerusalem to learn from King Solomon. They became fond of each other and had a son, Menelik I in the 10th Century.

This was stated in the 1955 Ethiopian Constitution. It is clear that too much information was removed from the bible but that doesn't make the bible false, And it shouldn't be the only source of information.
