Plot by Obaseki to replace PDP delegates uncovered

Following the current crisis exported by Obaseki from APC to PDP, resulting in a Port Hartcourt based Federal High Court restraining Obaseki from participating in the scheduled PDP primaries, the governor has embarked on yet another illegal means to achieve his aim of getting the party's ticket.

It has been uncovered that Mr Godwin Obaseki in connivance with some PDP leaders outside Edo State, is swapping names of delegates loyal to the leading aspirant, Hon. Omoregie Ogbeide-Ihama with new names which they hope to use to manipulate the outcome of the June 25 Edo PDP governorship primary election in favour of Obaseki.

Sources close to one of the aspirants say they will immediately go to court to challenge this clandestine move and make the list of current delegates open to the public in order to expose them before they execute their plans.

It will be recalled that Mr Godwin Obaseki recently left the APC after being disqualified by the party for submitting forged documents to the screening committee.
