Edo Speaker threatens to reconvene Assembly moment after Obaseki appoints Commissioner

‘Speaker’ of the Edo State House of Assembly, Mr Frank Okiye has threatened to reconvene the House following the appointment of a new Commissioner, without recourse to the Legislature.



A statement issued on Thursday by SSG Osarodion Ogie, had instructed the new appointee, Stewart Efe, to resume immediately without subjecting himself to House screening.
