Coronavirus: Kaduna State repatriated 45 Almajiris

The Zamfara State Government on Monday said that it has received 45 Almajiri from Kaduna State Government.

The Commissioner for Women, Children and Social Development Hajiya Zainab Lawal in Guaso the State Capital received these Almajiri on behalf of the State Government. The Almajiri comprises of 28 females and 17 males.

The Commissioner said this is the part of the efforts of the State Government in partner with neighbouring States to contain the spread of COVID-19.

Lawal is the Chairperson Data Collection subcommittee on Protection, Repatriation and Resettlement Committee advised the Parents against pushing out their children for Street begging in the name of Islamic Studies.
