Abubakar Momoh, Joshua Ogene, Alhaji Ozeto, Others dump PDP for APC.

Auchi - The Candidate of the People's Democratic Party, (PDP) in the 2019 general elections for Edo North Senatorial district,Engr.Alhaji Abubakar Momoh, has dumped the Party for the All Progressives Congress.

Addressing a Mamoth crowd of Supporters across Edo North Senatorial district at Auchi today the 11th of December, 2019, Engr.Abubakar Momoh, said he is leaving the PDP for lack of Commitment on the Part of the leadership of the party to acquire power.


He said his decision to join the APC is to strengthen the Party by working with the National Chairman of the Party,Comrade Adams Oshiomhole and other leaders of the Party both at the State and the National levels.


Engr.Momoh, stated that  he had wanted the Party to grow in Edo North,but to no avail, stressing, that the PDP is not interested in winning elections

While giving a run down of what transpired during his litigation after the 2019  Senatorial election, Momoh said he decided to go court because he had wanted the Party to grow and  to fight against injustice,but was betrayed and abandoned by the Party.

Responding, a Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party in Etsako East, Chief Martin Akpeji, said they are ready to go to where Momoh goes and called on the APC to live up to expectations.

Some of the leaders present include Chief Joshua Ogene(Scatter), Dr.Binaking Oshiorenua, King Benji Igbadumhe, Evangelist Dr.Jerome Ileile among others.

It would be recalled that prominent PDP leaders across Edo North resigned their Membership of the PDP  to join the APC.
