Mount Zion pastor lands in jail for defiling 20-year old

UYO – Apostle Williams okon, a presiding pastor of Mount Zion light house full gospel church, Obio Imo Lane ,Uyo, has been arrested by the Nigerian Police Force for defiling his 20 year old daughter , miss Fortune Williams Bassey.

SP ODIKO MACDON, Police public relation officer made this known in a press release posted on the force Facebook page.

The victim, Miss Fortune confessed to the police that her father started the act with her when she was 13, and that led to her having three abortions for her father with the help of her mother. She further revealed that her first defilement was in the church vestry by her father who threaten to curse her if she ever reveal to anyone.

Also in the police net are Mr Festus Etuk and Lady Ememobong Eshiet of Ikot Akpa Eshiet Village, Onna Local Government Area who both forced an orphan to have sex with Mr. Festus with the intention of conceiving for them. They were arrested for conspiracy of defilement.

Others arrested for sexual crimes include one Anwanga Essien Udo a pastor with Restoration Bible Church for having carnal knowledge with his 10year old step-daughter, Gift Ime Okon, Mr Nsikan Ufia Udo of Nung Akpan Obio Offot for defiling a 12 year old girl, Saviour Umoh Ukpong who residence at Akpan Etuk Street, Uyo for defiling a 15 year old and Iniobong Okon Moses of Ikot Amupe Obio Offot, Uyo, who had carnal knowledge of a 2 year old girl.

The police further condems the act of sexual predators and warns that the police command will not relent effort in bringing perpetrator of such act to Justice.

Those arrested have agreed to the crime and will be charged to court the police spokesman said in the press release.
