Ahmed Musa feels good to be back in action as Al Nassr beat Abha 4-0




Super Eagles Captain, Ahmed Musa returned to action on Saturday as his Saudi Arabia team, Al Nassr claimed a 4-0 over Abha in a Saudi Arabia league game at the Malaz Stadium.

The 27-year old has been out of action since, he was being forced out of Al Nassr’s away game against Al Fateh on Matchday two due to a discomfort in his left knee.


Al Nassr crusied to a 4-0 win on Saturday, thanks to goals from Nordin Amrabat, Abderrazak Hamdallah (brace), and Yahya Al-Shehri as they moved up to second on the league table.

The former CSKA Moscow Forward, was brought on, in the 82nd minute of the game.



However, Ahmed Musa expressed his excitement on his return to action.

“It’s so good to be back to the game I love & to make it a lot more special is the great outpour of love & prayers I got from my family, friends, supporters & all the fans of Al Nassr. Special thanks to the medical team, team mates & the entire management for standing by me”. Musa said.

Ahmed Musa will now join the Super Eagles team as they prepare to face Benin Republic and Lesotho in the 2021 AFCON Qualifiers next week.
