We are Committed to Implementing Education Committee Report - Gov. Buni

H.E Governor Mai Mala Buni has said that his administration will implement the report of the Committee on Basic and Secondary Education set up following the convening of the Yobe State Education Summit recently.

The governor, who spoke yesterday when the report was presented to him at Government House Damaturu, indicated that the report will be implemented in the short, medium and long terms on the basis of the resources available to government.

Governor Mai Mala Buni directed the acting Secretary to the State Government to study the report and work out implementation modalities in conjunction with relevant government agencies.

The committee was headed by Prof Malah Daura, former Vice Chancellor of the University of Maiduguri.
