Edo council boss suspended over financial misappropriation
Governor Obaseki of Edo State on Friday suspended Etsako West council chairman over misappropriation of fund up to the tune of #48million this blog has learnt.
However, a source in the Council told this blog that the suspension of Hon. Musa Yakubu may be as a result of his refusal to bow to pressure and part with allocations meant for the development of his local government.
His Vice Chairman has also reportedly sent a clear message to the Head of Service not to honor any cheque purportedly from the Chairman as this may be forcefully obtained by agents, including violent thugs, loyal to Godwin Obaseki.
