A 24-year-old member of the dreaded Eye Confraternity, who alongside others at large, have been terrorizing his neighborhood of Olohunleke in the Atan-Otta and Agbara axis  of Ogun State, has been arrested by policemen attached the Zonal Intervention Squard (ZIS), an outfit of the Zone 2 Police Command, Onikan, Lagos.

The suspect, Folorunso Oluwadamilare, was arrested early this month having barricaded a portion of the Atan-Agbara Road in Ogun State, a tip-off the ZIS operatives hinged on and raced to the scene.

Crimepuzzle learnt that, while other members of the gang narrowly escaped the policemen's onslaught, Folorunso was not as lucky as the fleeing gangsters and was nabbed before making his bid to flee.

In a press release made available to our reporter by the Command's Public Relations Officer (ZPPRO), DSP Hauwa Idris-Adamu, she stated that the Command received an information on July 4, 2019, at about 13:15pm, that some hoodlums were terrorizing residents of Olohunleke community, near Atan-Otta in Ogun State, following which, a team was detailed to track down the suspects.

"The team immediately swung into action, moved to the scene and arrested one Folorunso Oluwadamilare (aka Pastor), while others escaped. Recovered from him was a locally-made pistol", the ZPPRO said, adding that the suspect confessed to belong to Eye Confraternity.

The statement further quoted the suspect as saying that the gun was always put to use each time there was a supremacy battle between his group and other rival bodies, averring that investigation was ongoing to track down the fleeing members of the group as well as making more recoveries of arms and ammunition.

However, Crimepuzzle investigation revealed that the suspect was initiated into the confraternity in 2015 by one Jide (aka herbalist) alongside one Jezzy and Lekan (aka Joojo).

Folorunso, a resident of Olohunleke, disclosed to our reporter that his gang always operated anywhere there was a carnival in his neighborhood of Olohunleke and Agbara axis.

The suspect, who revealed that he always collected the pistol his gang used for their operation from one Asela Adams, added that their last operation, during which he was arrested, was with Asalailu and Waheed
