Gas station consumed by inferno in Auchi

A Gas station belonging to Afo Oil and Gas opposite the campus two gate of Auchi Polytechnic has been gutted by fire.
The cause of the inferno which occurred on Tuesday night is yet to be ascertained. The fire was said to have started between 7 and 8PM on Tuesday when its workers had already closed for this day's business.

When Strategic Media NG visited the area, sympathisers where seen discussing the incident that left the gas facility shattered.
An eyewitness who does not want his name in print described the incident has shocking adding that the cause of the inferno is still being speculated.

Effort by this blog to get reaction from the Manager of the Station, Mr. Abdullah Abu proved abortive as call made to his phone number was not connected. The network kept saying: "The number you have dialled cannot be reached."
