We will put an end to poor infrastructure Ogun State governor



The Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has assured residents of areas affected by flood in the state capital of governments willingness to bring succor their way, as government was set to find a lasting solution to problems that had been a reoccurring event in the affected areas.

Prince Abiodun who gave the assurance while addressing residents affected by flood at Odo Gbangba, Isale  Oja Kuto and Ijeja,, all in Abeokuta said although he had already sent his deputy to see to their plights, but decided to come personally with the speaker of the house of assembly and its leadership to see first hand what they were going through.

He noted that it was not proper for the people to vote for a government and be left alone to suffer from natural disasters, without any form of visit or assurances of a better future, saying that he has seen their plight personally and would ensure that the affected areas benefit from its good governance vision, calling for calm and lots of patience.

The governor however called on the residents to desist from throwing refuse into the water ways, noting that they should help themselves by making the drainages and waterways free of refuse.
