Governor Bagudu applauds Kebbi State Assembly members over successful 9th Assembly Speakers



Members of the Kebbi State House of Assembly  today, paid a courtesy visit to His Excellency, Sen. A.A Bagudu, Governor of Kebbi State after the successful re-election of Hon. Sama'ila Abdulmuminu Kamba representing Dandi Constituency as Speaker and Hon. Muhammadu Buhari representing Aliero Local Government Constituency as Deputy Speaker of the Kebbi State 9th Assembly, to thank him for his support and re-affirm their firm support to his administration in delivering an even better 2nd tenure.

In his remarks, " H.E A.A Bagudu expressed delight and satisfaction over the success and peaceful outcome of the election that saw Hon. Sama'ila and Hon. Muhammadu emerge as Speaker and Deputy Speaker respectively of the 9th State Assembly. He expressed profound gratitude to them for their continuous support for his administration and promised to continually work with them and provide them with all they needed support to ensure a smooth and successful running of the 9th Assembly.

In his speech, " the Speaker thanked the Governor for his show of support to the State Assembly and promised to continually work with him on his mandate in delivering an even better 2nd tenure. He also thanked members of the 9th State Assembly for the confidence reposed in him, promising to work in the best interest of the 9th Assembly in taking them forward to greater heights.

Hon. Adamu Mohammed B/Yauri member from Ngaski Local Government Constituency nominated the Speaker, while Hon. Sama'ila Bui representing Arewa Constituency nominated the Deputy Speaker. The new Speakers emerged as they  winners unopposed of their respective positions under the All Progressive Congress(APC) party after being nominated by they members of the 9th Assembly

The Clerk to the House, Malam Muhammed Gwadangwaji BirninKebbi announced Hon. Sama'ila and Hon. Muhammadu as Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the 9th Assembly following the absence of other nominations for they positions they were vying for.
