Edo federal lawmaker assured constituents of inclusive 9th Assembly
A lawmaker representing Etsako federal constituency, Hon. Johnson Oghuma has assured the people of the constituency of inclusive and a robust 9th Assembly that will transform the federal constituency to a greater height.
He made this assurance less than 48 hours to the inauguration of the 9th National Assembly.
Hon. Oghuma also expressed confidence that Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila and Idris Ahmed Wase will emerge as the leaders of the House of Representatives come Tuesday.
According to him, the number of Signatures collected so far by the Gbaja/Wase campaign team is above the simple majority required to emerge the Speaker and Deputy respectively.
While commending the effort of the Campaign team, the lawmaker said the choice of the duo is best for the House of representatives, considering their wealth of experience adding that they are more experienced compared to other contestants and enjoined all members of the House to support the aspirations of Gbaja/Wase candidacy for a robust oth Assembly where the interest and yearnings of Nigerians will be represented.
Mr Oghuma assured that Gbaja/Wase as Speaker and Deputy in the House will bring cordial relationship between the House and the Executive arm of the government which was missing in the 8th National Assembly
