9th Assembly: Edo federal lawmaker urges members to support Buhari

A lawmaker representing Edo North Senatorial district in the upper legislative chamber, Senator Francis Alimikhena on Thursday called on his colleagues at the National Assembly to close ranks and support President Muhammadu Buhari's leadership to bring about the required paradigm shift in piloting the affairs of our great Country to preferred destination.

Senator Alimikhena also thanked the people of Edo North Senatorial District, and everyone everyone who supported his re-election and inauguration as Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

According to him: "With the election and inauguration of the leadership of the National Assembly the statecraft should now focus on policies and programmes which will bring succour to the plight of the clapam omnibus who, incidentally, dominate our space in all ramifications."

The lawmaker also enjoined political leaders not to allow their memory to be overcast by personal pursuits and lower the guards in the quest for pleasurable things that last momentarily. Instead, they should take a leap into the Next Level horizon to discover and harness new confidence and courage to launch into new vistas within the spatiotemporal and divine worth of our dear Country, Nigeria.
