JIGAWA 2019 APC GUBERNATORIAL PRIMARY: GOVERNOR BADARU EMERGE APC's GUBERNATORIAL FLAGBEARER.

The Governor of Jigawa State Alhaji Muhammad Badaru Abubakar has polled 3123 votes to emerge the flagbearer of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2019 gubernatorial election.

The Governor, defeated his opponent Pharm. Hashim Ubale Yusuf who had 54 votes, while 35 votes were invalid .

The Returning Officer and leader of the team sent from the National Headquarters of the APC, to conduct the indirect primary election, Senator Abubakar Sadiq described the exercise as very peaceful while commending the conduct of the delegates.
