Gov Badaru Attends funeral of APC Woman Leader in Jigawa
The Governor of Jigawa State Alhaji Muhammad Badaru Abubakar has attended the funeral (Janazah) prayer of the immediate past woman leader of the Jigawa State APC, Late Hajiya Binta Farin Dutse.
The late women leader's corpse was brought to Nigeria this morning after her death last week at an Indian Hospital after a protracted illness.
The funeral prayer took place at her Hotoro Quarters Residence in Kano before her burial at the Tarauni Quarters Cemetery.
Governor Badaru expressed his shock and sadness over the demise of the Jigawa State Women Leader whom he described as a very hardworking, resilient and kind-hearted soul and who was very instrumental on his emergence as the elected Governor of Jigawa State.
Governor Badaru described Hajiya Binta Farin Dutse's as a loss to the entire APC family, not only in Jigawa State, but the nation as well.
The Governor prayed to Allah SWT to forgive her soul and reward her with Jannat-el-Firdaus and grant her family the fortitude to bear the loss.
The Governor was accompanied by the Deputy Governor Barr. Ibrahim Hassan Hadejia, Hon. Faruok Adamu Aliyu, Alhaji Ali Magashi, Attorney General Barr. Sani Garun Gabas and other dignitaries.
