NPower Distance Self from Permanence of Volunteers

The job creation Unit of the National Social Investment Programme, christened- NPower, on Saturday dissociated itself from the news making the round especially on Social Media that the Presidency has asked that the 2016 beneficiaries of the Scheme be absorbed as permanent Federal Civil servant.

In an update on its official Twitter handle this morning, the Scheme announced:

"Hi there,

"It has come to our attention that some people are sharing the FAKE news that the President has asked that the 2016 beneficiaries be retained in the Civil service.

"Please disregard the news. It is NOT true."
