Gov Badaru Abubakar Commends Orji Uzor Kalu
The Governor of Jigawa State Alhaji Muhammad Badaru Abubakar has commended the former Governor of Abia State and Chieftain of the APC Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu for his unquantifiable contributions to nation building.
The Governor made the commendation during the Eid-ul-Fitr Sallah Durbar which held at Nuhu Muhammad Sunusi Durbar Ground during the latter's visit to the state.
Governor Badaru also commended President Muhammadu Buhari for initiating projects that have direct bearing on the lives of the people of the country, and called on Nigerians to support President Muhammadu Buhari's reelection bid.
Governor Badaru said the visit of Dr. Kalu to Jigawa State at this festive season signified that he is a man that is passionate about peace and unity of Nigeria and will help a lot to promote harmonious and peaceful coexistence.
Governor Muhammad Badaru equally urged the good of people of Jigawa State continue supporting his administration in its quest to turn Jigawa State into one of the leading states with developmental projects in the country.
Earlier in his speech, the former Abia State Governor, Dr. Orji Kalu said he was in Jigawa State to celebrate with the people of the state at this joyous occasion and as part of his ongoing advocacy visit to solicit support for President Buhari which starts from the North West region.
Dr. Uzor Kalu commended Governor Muhammad Badaru for the laudable projects he saw on the ground and appreciates his support for the peace and unity of the country.
Dr. Kalu called on Nigerians to support President Muhammadu Buhari for his second term bid in the 2019 general elections.
Uzor Kalu said President Buhari deserves full support in appreciation of the best he was doing to bring infrastructural development and dividends of democracy to every parts of the country and also in consideration of his achievements in the area of security and fight against corruption.
