The Senator representing Kogi West senatorial district, Senator Dino Melaye, has released the sum of N3 million for the payment of next year's West African Examinations Council's (WAEC) Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) fees for 175 indigent students across the seven local government areas of his constituency in Kogi State.
According to a statement issued on Thursday and signed by Melaye's media aide, Gideon Ayodele, the total 175 candidates are drawn equally from the seven LGAs at 25 students per local government area.
