NYSC: Diseased Corps Member brought Illness from Home

The management of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has said that a batch B Corps Member, Ifedolapo Olapade, who passed on during orientation exercise in Kano, suffered protracted illness.

According to a staff of the Corps who doesn't want his name in print: " Oladapo was discovered with illness when she was presented before the camp clinic.

"She did not carry any disease from camp and for the of emphasis she did not die on camp contrary to the rumour making the rounds."

The Kano NYSC state coordinator, Abdullah Yusuf Babe confirmed the incident to Strategic Media on telephone adding that the matter has been transferred to to the headquarters in Abuja for further investigation and necessary action.
