Just In: FG Fires 12 Randy Auchi Polytechnic Lecturers

The federal government on Thursday approved the sack of about twelve Lecturers of the federal Polytechnic, Auchi, Edo State over sexual harassment and extortion of female students.

Strategic Media learned that fifteen other Lecturers and one instructor were also demoted in relation to the same offences. The Executive Secretary, National Board for Technical Education, Dr. Masa'udu Adamu-Kazaure made this known yesterday.

According to him the termination of appointment and demotion which was approved by the Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu will serve as deterrent to other Lecturers who indulge in such unscrupulous act.
