(Strategic)- Succour has yet again come the way of the internally Displaced
persons in Borno State as the Otaru of Auchi, Ikelebe III; Alhaji Aliru Momoh
donated the sum of #5million to them to ameliorate the hardships and devastating conditions faced by them as the APC led government under President Muhammadu Buhari struggles to bring an end to the BokoHaram insurgency.

While making the donation at the 19th Auchi Day
celebration held in Auchi, the monarch call on all a sundry to live peacefully
with one another as only in the atmosphere of peace can Nigeria find solution
to her quest for development.
He called on the federal government to urgently bring BokoHaram scourge to an end.
The monarch described the event as a festival of God and an opportunity to reflect on event around the world especially the event that occurred recently at the just concluded hajj to Mecca where many Muslims lost their lives.
He said:”We all must take due note of events of the world which affect taking of lives without lawful justification. The dimension is too great to be ignored especially the serial killing in Mina over the last 18 years through fire on camps and stampede at Jamarat.
The monarch said that the purpose and essence of the rituals of stoning the concrete pillars call the Devil should be revisited and possibly scrapped.
The traditional ruler said: "These pillars like the wooden idols of the period of ignorance must be destroyed because like Abraham in his embryonic origin of Islam: The Oneness of God that these totems have no souls, cannot feel, talk or drink or eat, cannot hear, see, nor they are blind, deaf and dumb buried in mixture of cement, stones, sand and water-Pillar. So why do we take the vigorous exercises of walking 8 kilometers to and from Jamarat." He furthered.
