APC Inaugurates Ward Campaign Committees for 2024 Gubernatorial Election in Ovia South West

The Ovia South West Local Government chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially inaugurated its Ward Campaign Committees ahead of the 2024 gubernatorial election.

The inauguration ceremonies, held across various locations in the council area, were led by Rt. Hon. Sunday Aghedo, the APC Campaign Council Coordinator for Ovia South West, who also represents the local government in the Edo State House of Assembly.

During the inaugurations, Aghedo charged the committee members with the crucial task of ensuring the party’s success in the upcoming elections.

He emphasized the importance of grassroots mobilization and encouraged members to work diligently for the party's victory.

Present at the inauguration events was Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa, the Deputy Governorship Candidate of the APC. Idahosa urged committee members to take their new roles seriously and to view their responsibilities as personal missions. He assured them that those who successfully deliver their polling units will be duly rewarded.

The wards where the committees were inaugurated include Ora, Udo, Iguobazuwa East, and Iguobazuwa West. The ceremonies were well-attended by notable party leaders, including Comr. Benson Edosomwan, the Edo South Senatorial Vice Chairman of the APC, and Hon. Emma Ogbomo, the Ovia South West LGA Party Chairman, among others.

As the 2024 gubernatorial election approaches, the APC’s strategic efforts in establishing and empowering these ward committees signal the party's commitment to grassroots engagement and electoral success in Ovia South West.
