EDO2024: Federal lawmaker, Iyawe urges eligible voters to obtain permanent voter cards

The Honourable Member Representing the good people of Oredo Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Hon. Engr. Esosa Iyawe has advised his constituent to actively participate in the forthcoming Continuous Voters Registration (CVR) in Edo State. 

While addressing Newsmen today in Benin city, Iyawe urged all eligible voters to participate fully in the forthcoming issuance of PVC and Continuous voters registration by the Independent National Election Commission (INEC). 

He said that timetable has been made available by INEC for the registration centres, and had also fixed the continuous registration of voters for Tuesday 28th May, 2024 which is expected to last for one week and three days in all the local government of Edo state. 

He also advised youths to avoid being used as a tool for election violence in the forth coming election. "Our youths should go out and get registered because the data would provide opportunities and benefit for the state and its people.

As we approach the gubanatorial elections, “People must understand and appreciate the power of their vote,” Iyawe said.

He also advised the people to participate in the exercise so as to vote in the right person for job.
