SWAN begins registration of members for year 2021

 

The Sport Writers Association of Nigerian (SWAN) has commenced registration of all members of the body for the year 2021.

To this end, the President of the Association, Comrade Ahmed Aigbona and the Secretary General of the sport body on Thursday signed an agreement with Fata Super System to produce digital Idwntity Card for SWAN members at Kado Estate in Abuja.

A statement from the President of the Association, Comrade Ahmed Aigbona explains that, the registration process, which involves the revalidation of old members and fresh registration for new members, requires that payment should be made only to the Association’s Bank account with the following details:

(1) Account Name: National SWAN Account

(2) Account No:  5533005930 

(3) Bank: Ecobank

Old members and new members are expected to pay into the above account details, and thereafter return the payment slip(s) to their respective state SWAN Secretaries for acknowledgement.

After payment of N3,000 only for the ID Card/ Membership Registration to the bank, thereafter members are expected to visit the Association's official E-mail to drop their personal details as follows:

Surname:

Middle name:

First name:

Medium/ Organisation:

State Chapter: 

And 2 Passport photographs of the member be scanned and attached to the member's personal details. After proper verification/checks registered member(s) will be contacted by the National Secretariat of SWAN through their state leadership.

Note: members should be aware that this process will not only lead to the registration of new members and revalidation of old members, but the collation of data for the Association’s membership register for future benefit.

Immediate compliance will therefore be fully appreciated. Membership Registration is open to both full members and associate members.
