Just In: FG shortlists 1.2 million applicants for NPower 2020 programme

The Federal Government through the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs Disaster Management and Social Development on Thursday announced that it has shortlisted about 1.2 million applicants for NPower 2020 Batch C job programme.

This development was made known in an update posted on the ministry's Social Media handle. The Ministry advised applicants to input their e-mail and mobile number in the link below to verify their status.

The NPower programme was inaugurated by the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari in June 2016 with a mandate to reduce poverty, unemployment and social insecurity among Nigerians.

The programme involves enrolment and deployment of unemployed graduates to schools, health centres and other Institutions to work there while the government pays them a stipend of #30, 000 monthly.

Batches A and B of the programme were successfully exited in June and July 2020 respectively after enrollees completed their tenure.
