Edo 2020: Two policemen killed as trailer hits Oshiomole convoy entourage

 

Two police officers have been confirmed dead after a trailer lost control and ran into former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Adams Oshiomhole’s convoy on Tuesday. The incident happened along Benin-Lagos Road, just before the popular Oluku junction in Ovia North-East Local Government Area of Edo State.

This was confirmed in a statement made available by Oshiomhole’s media aide, Victor Oshioke, who explained that the convoy was on its way to Usen to join the APC campaign train for the September 19 Governorship Election.

The statement noted that Oshiomhole and other persons, apart from the aforementioned officers, did not sustain any injuries.
