Edo First Lady Storms Owan for Mother Of All Rallies

 

...Wife Of Council Boss Mobilizes Over 3000  Women Ahead Of The Rally

The wife of Owan West Council Chairman and Chairperson of Women Development Programme, Mrs. Patience Azegbe Ilaboya, will be playing host to Her Excellency, Mrs. Betsy Obaseki, the First Lady of Edo State tomorrow.

According to Mrs. Ilaboya, the Women's rally is geared towards mobilizing support towards the re-election of Governor Godwin Obaseki and Rt. Hon. Philip Shaibu, his deputy.

She said, "Owan West women will be speaking with one voice again, tomorrow 1st of September, 2020 when the First Lady of Edo State, Mrs Betsy Obaseki, holds a rally with the women of the local Government and two others.

The rally is expected to see over 3000 women from Owan West in attendance.

"We are hosting the mother of the State  tomorrow and arrangements have been finalized to ensure we have a hitch free event.

"It is time for our women to come out en masse and give our First  Lady a rousing welcome and make a loud statement again that the re-election of Governor Obaseki and his Deputy is not negotiable in the local Government.

“This is the Mother of all Rallies and we must make bold statement tomorrow. Owan West women have shown tremendous support for this project and I want to use this opportunity to appreciate them all.”

The rally holds tomorrow 1st of September at Michael Imoudu Institute, Afuze, Owan East Local Government Area. 

Three local Governments, Owan West, Owan East and Akoko Edo women will be part of the rally.
