Nigeria's education system is about control of workforce to avoid overpopulation, Nigeria man said

A Nigerian man identified as Kosi taken to the Social media to air his view on the current state of education in Nigeria.

According to him, the manner in which the curriculum of the university is designed is not to properly educate Nigerians but programme so as to control the workforce to avoid overpopulation

See his thought below:

I think the concept of education is nothing but an attempt to control the workforce so it does not get over populated.

Sometimes, I look at some calculations we were taught in school and I wonder to myself;
"How the fuck is knowing this going to be of help to me?"
No jokes.

A lecturer was teaching us sometime in our 400 level.
After a while, he paused and looked at the board, then threw a question to us.
"How is all this nonsense I just solved going to give you money or make you rich?"
Then, he shook his head and packed his bags and left the class.

Nna, this example he was solving covered about two foolscap paper for just the 1a ooo!
Like, I wonder why we all have to go through that stress to learn irrelevant things that will not be needed in the dream job you seek.

I think the education system has been programmed in such a way to frustrate you, so as to lose focus; poor grades, lecturer intimidation and harassment, cumbersome courses, coupled with the stress of living as a student.

So people drop out and the workforce load is greatly reduced.
And it is worse in Nigeria!

We are being taught to cram and memorize a whole lot unnecessary jargons that are not in anyway relevant.

Take for example; why on Earth did we study GS courses?
Just to add to the pile of our courses and increase your workload!
Plus all other borrowed courses that are not necessary.

No other university in the world offers those GS bullshit we do.
That's why over there, they finish school between the space of three years, while it takes us five years plus additional strike actions to finish.

You know the funny thing? We still end up having to learn the relevant things we need on the job after we must have graduated.
Then why stress us for five years?
I really do not blame people who say school is scam.
