Edo 2020: APC locksdown constituency for Pastor Ize Iyamu

Apparently moved by the passion to give Pastor Osagie Ize Iyamu massive supports and Votes in the September governorship polls, the leaders and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogbona have unanimously the candidacy of the APC Candidate, Pastor Ize Iyamu.

Addressing members of the party at  a meeting held in Ogbona, the administrative headquarters of Ward, the Chairman of the Party in Etsako Central local government area, Comrade Bagudu Suleiman, urged the people of the Ward to vote enmasse for Pastor Ize Iyamu to rescue the state from the maladministration of the state governor, Mr.Godwin Obaseki.

Comrade Bagudu, however, debunked the rumours making round  by some agents of the People's Democratic Party that the people of the Ward have crossed over to the PDP. He said PDP has nothing on ground to solicit the people's votes.

He said, there was need for the people of the Ward to join the All Progressives Congress (APC) to encourage government to attract development to the area.

He challenged the state governor and his supporters to mention any project done by his administration in the area to warrant their supports for his failed re- election bid.

Also speaking, the leader of the All Progressives Congress in Zone four in Etsako Central local government and Ex Commissioner of Police in Delta State ,Chief Jacob Oshiomhogho, said the PDP and Obaseki would be defeated in the September poll as a result of their failure to attract any development to the area.

The former Delta Police boss, urged members of the party to double their efforts to woo more people to the APC to guarantee success for Pastor Osagie Ize Iyamu.

Oshiomhogho, who expressed implicit confidence in the leadership of Pastor Ize Iyamu to bring good governance to the people at the grassroots, further said the state governor, Mr.Godwin Obaseki and the PDP have been rejected by the people of the state

The Zonal APC leader, maintained that the general political will of Edo people would prevail come September 19.

In his remarks, a leader of the party in the Ward and frontline Musician in Edo State, King Benji Igbadumhe, said the SIMPLE AGENDA of POI is a manifesto of hope that would address the myraids of challenges facing the people of the state.

He called on the People to work assidiously to enthrone a people's oriented administration headed by Pastor Ize Iyamu, adding, that POI would justify the confidence reposed in him by Edo people if given the mandate.

In his submission, a former member of Edo State Hospitals Management Board and Medical Director,Tomsek Medical Clinic, disclosed that Pastor Ize Iyamu is a son of Ogbona Community who knows the challenges facing the people of the area.

Dr.Asekhauno, further stated that a Vote for POI is a Vote for good governance, adding that APC  would run an all inclusive administration if Pastor Ize Iyamu emerges as the governor of the state.

In his contribution, a former member of the Edo State House of Assembly Service Commission, Capt.Philip Itsede rtd) urged the people of the Ward to work assidiously to deliver POI come September 19 poll.

Captain Itsede, who is  Etsako Central local government Coordinator of Pastor Ize Iyamu Campaign Organization, further asserted that POI is tested and trusted by the people of the state to bring the expected change.

Also speaking,the Councillor representing Ward four, Hon.Roger Kadirii Okozi, said the present administratipn in the state is worst than CoronaVirus.

The LG lawmaker, also accused the Council Chairman of neglecting the people who brought him to power and for subjecting the Council Workers to untold hardshing by deliberately refusing to pay their salaries which is the rights.He urged the council workers to vote against Mr.Godwin Obaseki and the PDP to be free from the affliction of the present administration in the state.

Hon.Roger Kadirii, called on the EFCC and the ICPC to beam their searchlights in Etsako Central local government  Council to prevent embezzlement and misappropriation of government funds meant for the people.

In his words " As we speak, the local government under Comrade John Akhigbe and Obaseki are oweing the Council Workers, One month and half salaries.Such People cannot be trusted with power and public funds.I urge the various financial Agencies in the Country to rescue our people" Hon.Roger added.

The Councillor, added that nobody has Monopoly of violence and that Edo State is not a banana  republic.He also disclosed that nothing can stop him from Voting Pastor Osagie Ize Iyamu.

Edo govenorship election will hold on September 19, 2020 according to the timetable released by INEC
